Selecting an Agile Process: Choosing Among the Leading Alternatives

With so many agile processes available it can be difficult to tell them apart. More importantly, it is often difficult to know which one you should try. This session helps you decide.

Almost all projects can benefit from introducing some form of agility. But it’s important you pick the right one for you and your team. In this class we will look at Scrum, Extreme Programming, Feature-Driven Development, Crystal, and DSDM. Particular attention will be paid to pointing out unique aspects of each process that will help you decide if it’s the one for you. This class is equally suited for managers, programmers, testers, and analysts who are interested in or contemplating the use of an agile process. You will leave with solid knowledge of the main agile processes and with a good idea of which one is the right fit for your organization.
