More Power/Less JavaScript: Dynamically manipulating web pages with JQuery
It was first called Dynamic HTML, then Ajax. But whatever you call it, web applications are getting richer and more dynamic through JavaScript.
Unfortunately, manipulating a web page through JavaScript can be tricky and the challenge is even greater when you have to make sure it works equally well in all browsers.
In this presentation, we'll explore JQuery, a JavaScript library that makes short order of common JavaScript tasks. You'll see how one or two lines of JQuery-powered JavaScript can do what can only be done with pages of JavaScript without JQuery.
