Hardware Hacking with Raspberry Pi
The personal computing revolution was touched off by hardware hackers more than a generation ago, but soon high-density pin counts and surface mount devices made electrical engineering a difficult path for the hobbyist. Happily, those days are over! Products like Arduino and Raspberry Pi make hardware hacking rewarding and accessible for anyone with a little bit of desk space.
In this talk, we’ll use an actual Raspberry Pi device to control motors and make measurements from the outside world. By working through each detail of the project, we’ll get our hands on the software development environment of the Pi and explore all of the electronics theory you’ll need to get your code interacting with the real world.
