Groovy On Monday is all about specific things you can do to get started with Groovy at your day job right away. This session is always fun and lively while providing practical real world ways to take advantage of Groovy with no fuss.
Introducing new technologies into the enterprise is often tough to do. Introducing a technology like Groovy into the mix is not like that at all. Introducing Groovy into a Java development environment involves little more than putting a jar on your CLASSPATH. Groovy runs on the JVM and plays well with the tools you are already used to using. Those tools include Ant, Cobertura, IntelliJ, Eclipse, JUnit, Spring etc. This session covers a slew of specific ways for you to start using Groovy right away.
