Distributed Processing Techniques
The Reactive Manifesto has thrown down the gauntlet challenging the inherent synchronous nature of today’s web applications. In fact, the notion of a distinct web application may be a relic of the past that is replaced by sets distributed event processors. These event processors may be collocated or distributed geographically. Enabling this reactive approach to event processing is The Cloud and a plethora of open source frameworks.
In this session, I will demonstrate distributed processing techniques using the Akka Framework, Storm, and ØMQ (zeromq) that enable event-based reactive systems.
