Creating reusable and gracefully degrading libraries in JavaScript is not a widely known skill.
There are some quality libraries available, but if you've made the decision to do it yourself, there are many things to keep in mind while developing speed, usability, look, and customizability.

This session will explore creating various components built on Prototype and Script.aculo.us using unobtrusive techniques.
