An Introduction to SOA with JBI and Apache ServiceMix
Apache ServiceMix is an open source Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) providing a platform for integration. ServiceMix is built from the ground up on the Java Business Integration (JBI) spec allowing components and services to be integrated in a vendor independent manner. This facilitates integration in a heterogeneous environment through the use of a messaging backbone via sophisticated message routing, transformation and much more.
ServiceMix provides a large amount of bindings for common protocols that can simply be configured and chained together to facilitate many integration scenarios. This session will introduce ServiceMix and JBI by presenting some integration scenarios and applying ServiceMix as a solution to those scenarios.
