I had a great time last week at The
AJAX Experience. The ajaxian?s
(Ben and Dion) and NFJS did
an
awesome job in organizing this event.
I enjoyed attending a number of great presentations; I am glad I had the opportunity
to meet some great
minds in this community.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting ready and delivering my talk on AJAX for .NET. I took
an example oriented
approach (mostly coding, almost no powerpoint) to show how to implement Ajax for ASP.NET
applications. I spent some time on AJAX.NET
Pro, MagicAjax.NET, and
of course Microsoft ASP.NET
Ajax Extensions (formerly ATLAS). The MS AJAX beta was released on October 19th,
however, to use
features like Autocomplete, I had to use the CTP version. I also showed how to add
and benefit
from Prototype and Scriptaculous.
While at the show, I was interviewed by ServerSide.NET. I will post a link to this
when it gets posted on
their site.
I can?t wait for the event next year.
