Had a great time at The AJAX Experience.

Posted by: Venkat Subramaniam on October 30, 2006

I had a great time last week at The AJAX Experience. The ajaxian?s (Ben and Dion) and NFJS did an
awesome job in organizing this event.

I enjoyed attending a number of great presentations; I am glad I had the opportunity to meet some great
minds
in this community.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting ready and delivering my talk on AJAX for .NET. I took an example oriented
approach (mostly coding, almost no powerpoint) to show how to implement Ajax for ASP.NET
applications. I spent some time on AJAX.NET Pro, MagicAjax.NET, and of course Microsoft ASP.NET
Ajax Extensions (formerly ATLAS)
. The MS AJAX beta was released on October 19th, however, to use
features like Autocomplete, I had to use the CTP version. I also showed how to add and benefit
from Prototype and Scriptaculous.

While at the show, I was interviewed by ServerSide.NET. I will post a link to this when it gets posted on
their site.

I can?t wait for the event next year.
