It was a riot - No Fluff Just Stuff

It was a riot

Posted by: Venkat Subramaniam on June 8, 2006

At the end of a long day, would about a 100 geeks spend two full hours discussing
static typing vs. dynamic typing, get their head around new features in .NET that
has derived its strength from languages like Ruby, and hang around well past 9:30PM
still wanting more not only about Ruby, but Rails, Groovy, etc.? Well, most certainly,
you guys made my day.

I had the pleasure of giving the Ruby for .NET Programmers talk this evening at the
Houston .NET Users group.

The group was highly interactive; there was not a dull moment in the audience.
There was quite a few (heated) debates, and I wish I could have audience with such
passion and attitude in every talk I give.

I hope all who attended had a great time. Thanks to the good folks running the HDNUG
for having me there.
