Ahhhh... it's the browser

Posted by: Venkat Subramaniam on April 2, 2006

After spending insanely long time trying to figure out why I can?t access a SQL Server report,
it finally dawned on me that I have set Windows authentication and Firefox does not quite pass
that information automatically.

It has been a while since I used IE. Don?t ask me why - out of desperation what else - finally I launched
IE and I got things working in no time. OK, next step, changing the authentication so I can get back to
using FF or may be modify FF settings so I can use the application as it is. I hope someday all this will
work well without us having to waste so much time.
