My first class in India - No Fluff Just Stuff

My first class in India

Posted by: Venkat Subramaniam on December 9, 2005

I offered my first course in India this past week. It was a five day course on Agile Software
Development Pracitces. I have offered course in Europe, Canada, and US, but never had a
chance to offer in India until now (except for a short seminar I gave a few years back, but that
doesn?t count).

The attendees were great?there was very good interaction in the class. One advantage I had with
this group was that I am familar with their application domain, so it made the examples more
interesting and appropriate, especially in discussing design principles.

Most of this week, to be honest, I did not realize that I am in India. The technical discussions,
follow up questions, participation in the lab work, the attendees made me totally forget where I
am.

One thing that clearly reminded me that I am in India is food. Unbeleivable. I think I will be putting
on some weight before I return. No guilt, I am going to enjoy it.

I am looking forward to my exclusive .NET 2.0 course next week, also in Hyderabad, but for a
different client.
