And this is another way to get there?

Posted by: Venkat Subramaniam on August 26, 2005

I quipped about what an airline reservation system suggested for a trip I was planning to the Oklahoma state.

The constraints were that I can?t leave until 9PM on a Wednesday night from Houston and I have to be in
southern OK by 7:30AM on the next day. Well, that day came this week.

I hopped on a plane from Houston to Dallas at 9PM on Wednesday. Got a good 4 hours sleep in a hotel
near the airport. Then started my 3.5 hours ride at 3:45AM (not an unusual time at all for me) to my
destination and reached right on time to get things set up for the class.

250 miles by air, about 180 miles by Car (hardly a distance if you have some classical music and NPR) - this
worked out quite OK to get things going in Oklahoma! Oh, the course I am offering there is
Agile Software Development Practices and we're having fun.
