Honey, I Shrunk the XML - No Fluff Just Stuff

Honey, I Shrunk the XML

Posted by: Craig Walls on July 18, 2007

Just a reminder that I'll be speaking at the Spring Dallas User Group tonight. On tonight's agenda is a collection of tips, tricks, and advice that will help you cut the fat from your Spring configuration by either reducing or eliminating much of the XML used to wire your application beans.

This promises to be a fun presentation, as I fight back a little at the Spring scoffers who attack Spring by pointing at its bloated XML files. It'll also be fast-paced...I have to somehow figure out how to cover all 13 items in only 1 hour. (And I just now thought of a couple of other XML-reducing tips that I might add.)
