It's About Groovy!

Posted by: Craig Walls on December 10, 2006

I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of About Groovy ever since Scott Davis first told me about it at the LoneStar Software Symposium back in October. It finally launched over the weekend to coincide with the release of Groovy 1.0-RC1 and The Spring Experience.

About Groovy is still new and, consequently, is a bit skinny on content. But I'm sure that will be temporary as excitement over Groovy and Grails picks up (and I expect it to over the next few months.

An interesting technical note concerning About Groovy: It's built using Grails!

As I've mentioned before, I've recently become a huge Groovy and Grails fanatic. As I dig into Groovy and Grails more and as I find time, I hope to be able to produce some content for About Groovy. And, of course, I'll be posting tidbits of Groovy/Grails info here from time to time.
