A me sighting

Posted by: Craig Walls on August 10, 2004

I was just looking at the chapter excerpt of "Building Portals with the Java Portlet API" by Jeff Linwood and David Minter that is out on The ServerSide. While browsing through this chapter, I happened to notice a section on using XDoclet to generate the portlet.xml. This caught my eye because (1) it's about XDoclet and (2) it's about an XDoclet module that I wrote.

Lo and behold! My name is mentioned in their book (page 101)! It's kinda cool seeing your name mentioned in someone else's book. It would've been even cooler had they referenced XDoclet in Action, but I guess I can't expect them to reference a book published by a different publisher.

Well...I guess I'm going to have to buy that book now.
