Hackergarten @ Devoxx 2012 - No Fluff Just Stuff

Hackergarten @ Devoxx 2012

Posted by: Andres Almiray on October 8, 2012

Good news everyone! The Devoxx organizers kindly extended the Hackergarten session to a full day experience, including an additional location raising the available space up to 100 people. w00t! Thanks a lot Stephan!

What's Hackergarten? In short, it's your chance to make a positive impact in an Open Source project of your choice. Hackergarten meetings are all about having fun, meeting new friends, learning new skills and making the world a better place, one code patch at a time. Hackergarten @ Devoxx is scheduled for the second day of the Devoxx University, which means everyone, yes everyone is welcome to join the fun, not just conference attendees. Let me repeat that, the Hackergarten session is a FREE (that's right, GRATIS) event, open to anyone that's willing to get their hands dirty with some code.

The following devoxxians, project leads and community luminaries have expressed their support for this session:

Hackergarten contributions have been sent to the following projects in the past: Groovy, Grails, Griffon, Gradle, Spock, JbossForge, Intellij IDEA, ScalaFX and more. Come join us for a full day of fun and open source goodness. Let your voice be heard. So bring your laptop and enjoy the ride. See you at Devoxx.

We code in peace.
