Griffon reaches 4th year

Posted by: Andres Almiray on September 11, 2012

I'm happy to say that as of September 10th 2012 Griffon is now 4 years old! :-D

It's been quite the roller coaster ride since the beginning, a very fun one for sure. In the last year the project hit two important milestones:

However those are not the only interesting developments during this period, we also saw:

The Griffon community continues to grow at a steady pace; every major Java/Groovy related conference (at least in Europe and the USA) has had one talk on the topic at the very least, with more to come as we close 2012; plus a couple of surprises before this year is gone ;-)

A big THANK YOU! to everyone that has contributed to the project (ideas, code patches, bug reports, feedback, etc), you have helped writing desktop applications in the JVM a very productive and fun experience.

Keep on Groovying
