FxBuilder update - No Fluff Just Stuff

FxBuilder update

Posted by: Andres Almiray on June 21, 2009

Here's the latest news regarding FxBuilder:
  • JavaFX SDK 1.2 support!
  • Able to builde swing, controls, animations, transitions, paints, shapes, transforms, effects, layouts.
  • Able to build CustomNodes.
  • Can trigger all 3 types of Alerts.
The griffon-fx is also coming along, once released you'll be able to compile JavaFX sources and Groovy/Java sources together, well actually JavaFX sources *before* the others, this is not joint compilation. Previous versions of FxBuilder allowed you to embed any swing component into a Scene, this is no longer possible (yet) as it requires some special recipe on Griffon's CompositeBuilder, which means the plugin will not be available until the next Griffon release is out.

Keep on Groovying!
