Groovy at EclipseCon 2009 - No Fluff Just Stuff

Groovy at EclipseCon 2009

Posted by: Andres Almiray on March 19, 2009

EclipseCon 2009 is just around the corner, there is still time to register. This will be the second time I'll be talking about Groovy at EclipseCon, what makes things different this year is that Ix-chel will be there too :-D

The first talk will be Streamlined Testing, Tuesday, at 16:40, Room 203/204. Unfortunately it is a very short talk (10 mins!) so we'll try to do our best to showcase Groovy's incredible testing facilities in so little time :-). The second talk is a reprise of Introduction to Groovy, Wednesday, at 14:30, 50 minutes, Grand Ballroom FGH. I'm happy that the conference organizers considered that the talk required a bigger room than last year's 212, its capacity was of roughly 60 people, we were completely packed, some people were standing at the back of the room!

Now to get back on finishing those slides and code examples, who knows, we might even show an experimental version of Griffon that is able to launch SWT/JFace apps, no kidding!

Keep on Groovying!
