Groovy @ CodeMash - No Fluff Just Stuff

Groovy @ CodeMash

Posted by: Andres Almiray on November 22, 2008

The Session List for CodeMash 09 has been announced! CodeMash is a rising conference that targets a variety of platforms and development languages such as Java, .Net, Ruby and PHP. Of course Groovy wouldn't be the exception, of the 63 announced sessions these are the ones related to the hip language with a cool name
  • Executable documentation with easyb (Andrew Glover)
  • iPhone Web Development with Grails (Christopher M. Judd)
  • Griffon in front, Grails in back (Jim Shingler)
  • Groovy/Grails for non-Java developers (Michael Kimsal)
  • Rich Apps with Groovy's SwingBuilder (Andres Almiray)
I'm truly honored and humbled at the same time by being chosen as a speaker, just look at the impressive list of speakers, besides Dr. Venkat Subramanian is responsible for one of the keynotes (he will also be speaking about Scala). There is also a pre-conference event (called Precompiler) where the incredible team behind BGG (Beginning Groovy & Grails), Christopher Judd, Joseph Nusairat and Jim Shingler, will be giving a half day tutorial about Grails, among other great things that will happen that day :-D

Event registration is quite accessible, but you have to act fast in order to book a room, after all it is a water park resort, who wouldn't like to spend a warm weekend in the middle of Winter? at chilly Ohio no less?!

Keep on Groovying!
