GraphicsBuilder: svg & image comparison

For what its probably my last post for 2007 I leave you with a comparison of the current svg converter output versus the original svg source (using JideBuilder's svgIcon to render svg)



Because the code is quite large I won't display it here but you can get it from this link. The first icon is the converted svg, the second icon is the original svg. The next 3 icons show a PNG version of the svg image scaled with 3 different interpolation values like so

It's worth mentioning that in order to get the converted svg some additions were made to GraphicsBuilder:
  • transformations now allow a matrix() transformations (explained here and here).
  • gradient stops support opacity
You may notice the conversion is not yet perfect, a shadow is missing and the inside of the question mark is not white.
