Groovy Builders spotted
Posted by: Andres Almiray on October 18, 2007
The first one is ObjectGraphBuilder by Scott Vlaminck. The builder will let you build and arbitrary graph of objects taking into account that nodes identify the class to be instantiated and the name of the property on the parent node at the same time, it also has a plugable startegy for defining the relation name between two beans. The good news is that Scott has agreed to donate the code to the Groovy project, cool!
The second one is PrefuseBuilder from Craig MacKay's. This builder works with the Prefuse visualization library, which in turn lets you build complex Graphs with Java2D. It is still in the early stages but definitely has a lot of potential, expect more news on this one soon.
Keep on Groovying!
