GraphicsBuilder demo available

Posted by: Andres Almiray on September 6, 2007

Its been a while since I blogged about GraphicsBuilder, the reason? I was busy creating a demo application modeled after the JavaFX tutorial. The app has reached a level of maturity and now it is publicly available, follow the links to take it for a spin (use the second one if the jnlp doesn't work):So what does it include besides the previous features ?
  • groups are supported
  • all shapes can be stored instead of being drawn directly (useful with morph)
  • clip will work with any shape
  • RenderingHints can be specified with a simple key, value pair
  • we have binding! (bind & animate directly from SwingBuilder)
  • and some bugfixes
Please keep in mind that it is still a work in progress, feedback is always appreciated, enjoy!

Keep on Groovying!

Update: if the webstart link doesn't work automatically you can always fire up a terminal and execute 'javaws http://almiray.net/groovy/graphicsbuilder.jnlp'. Thanks for the tip James :-)
