About this Presentation

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to use Gradle with Jenkins 2 to author pipelines in code and create a full stage CD pipeline. We'll cover how to utilize Git, Gradle, Jenkins 2 and integrate Gradle with Artifactory and other tools in the new Jenkins 2 pipeline-as-code world. Participants will create a functioning CD Pipeline while learning about how to integrate the key parts of these technologies for maximum productivity.

Since this is a hands-on workshop, some prep is required. We will be running a VM on VirtualBox. Prior to the workshop, attendees should download and install VirtualBox and ensure that it runs ok on a laptop that they can bring to the session. VirtualBox can be installed from https://www.virtualbox.org/

Additionally, a VM image, available for download from https://www.dropbox.com/s/hh2kqypxym0zzud/GRADLECDP.ova?dl=0 is also required.

After installing VirtualBox and downloading the image, please access and follow the setup instructions at

It is important to do the setup prior to the session if possible, since there will be limited time in the session.
