Sarah Nelson is a design strategist for Adaptive Path. She has ten years of experience in interactive media, designing online experiences for both corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Clients include The New York City Opera, AOL, Nintendo, and the Federal Home Loan Bank.
Professional Background
With over ten years of experience designing and building interactive media, Sarah brings a unique blend of creative vision and technical expertise to her work. Her research-focused approach to interaction design has produced successful results for clients such as the Seattle Opera, the Seattle Symphony, Nordstrom, Seattle Arts Commission, Microsoft, and Real Networks.
Before joining Adaptive Path, Sarah served as an User Experience Director and Creative Director at POP, an interactive design firm in Seattle, Washington. A classically trained violinist, Sarah graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy and received a B.A from Oberlin College in visual arts and electronic music. Her work in interactive media grew from an interest in art and technology and how that relationship creates engaging experiences.
Sarah is currently completing a Masters of Design Methods at the Institute of Design in Chicago.
