Agile 2008 and upcoming conferences

Posted by: Ryan Shriver on 08/01/2008
After a busy July with new project work, I’m getting ready for next week’s Agile 2008 conference in Toronto. I’ll be speaking on Wed, Aug 6 at 2pm in Civic North #2 on “Measurable Business Value with Agile”. The presentation will be on the synthesis of ideas from Evo and Scrum and how they can put together in practice. If your going to Agile 2008, please attend and say hi afterwards or even shoot me an email in advance. I’m up for discussing the finer points of agile engineering or measurable business value in the bar over drinks!

I’ll also be giving this talk at the International Conference on Software Process Improvement in Washington, DC on Oct 21 - 22. I’m not sure my time slot yet, but if you plan to attend this conference, please consider attending my session.

Finally, I’ll be giving my “Agile Engineering for Architects” talk at the Agile Developer Practices conference in Orlando on Nov 10-14. I’ll be speaking on Thu, Nov 13th at 2:45pm. I’m getting excited for this conference and plan to update my presentation in advance based on feedback from the Agile ITX conference. If you’re planning to be there, please get in touch in advance or at the conference, I’d love to meet up.
